Guest Ratings & Reviews
The hotel provided a cheap option for a basic stay, but it fell short on several fronts. The room had a strong cigarette smell despite being a non-smoking room and lacked the advertised balcony. The service was inconsistent, with some staff members going above and beyond while others failed to follow through on basic requests. The location was convenient but noisy, making it challenging to get a good night's sleep.
My stay at the hotel was overall pleasant. The rooms, although not very spacious, provided views of the windmill and the iconic Storey Bridge. However, there was a slight old place smell lingering. The service was top-notch, especially the contact I had on check-in and check-out. The location was central to the city and event centers but had some issues with mold in certain areas. The dining options were available next door, although I was under the impression there was no breakfast service. The facilities were decent, but there were areas that needed better maintenance.
The hotel's rooms had a nice view of the city from the terrace and large windows, although they were old, rundown, and dirty. The service was really nice and accommodating, with helpful staff and a lovely atmosphere. The location was very convenient, close to the city center and with easy access to public transport. The dining experience was good, although breakfast was unavailable on Sundays. The facilities were satisfactory, offering basic amenities.
The hotel offers a reasonable stay with a comfortable Queen bed and crisp white cotton sheets, although some areas need updating. I enjoyed the beautiful views of the city from our balcony, but encountered some initial rudeness which improved during our stay. The location is convenient for city access, though cleanliness could be better. The dining options were not operational, and the facilities were satisfactory but could use more attention to cleanliness.
